I am my soul
In Scripture we learn: we have a soul. We have a spirit. And, obviously, we also have a body inside of which we live. 1 Thessalonians 5:23
So, you have a soul. I am my soul. How are you living yours? Are you living it in Christ? Or, are you living it in the flesh? Big difference! You are dividing eternity. Chance to choose disappears with death.
See: Jesus can save your soul for all eternity
One type of living, a very poor choice many have made… leads to destruction. The best type of living leads to God’s Kingdom. They are the two roads to die for.
“In Christ“
If we have acted on God’s promises about salvation and gotten “born again” to follow Jesus, then, as a brand new creature “in Christ” – we actually “live and move and have our being” in Christ.
Got that peaceful easy feeling? That feeling comes with confidence in our great big beautiful God and Savior – Jesus the Messiah.
Acts 17:28
For in Him we live and move and exist [that is, in Him we actually have our being], as even some of your own poets have said, ‘For we also are His children.’
And once we have been changed forever, changed instantly, “on the spot” – God begins a work inside us to make our “spirit and soul and body”…”complete and…blameless” 1 Thessalonians 5:23 for the day when we meet-up with Him. Then the real real living will start!
Starting at that moment in time, we begin growing (well, that is the plan at least!), becoming faithful little by little. Or not, of course. It’s a process called “sanctification” separate you from sin.
Sanctification is not automatic. Our God is sanctifying us. And we work-at-it with God – voluntarily of course (or not).
1 Thessalonians 5:23
23 Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you through and through [that is, separate you from profane and vulgar things, make you pure and whole and undamaged—consecrated to Him—set apart for His purpose];
and may your spirit and soul and body be kept complete and [be found] blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Conversely, right from the starting chute we “live and move and have our being“… “a la natural” Romans 6:19 – in the flesh, apart from His Spirit, spiritually lost and in need of a Savior.
Without Christ, the spirit is dead as a door nail grammarist.com/idiom. Not a condition I’d ever want to stay in! So I turned from sin, and turned to Jesus to save me. And I’m growing in faith every day.
God is easy, light-handed, and gentle. When we approach God humbly and seek His presence, Scripture says “He will come close to you“:
James 4:8 Come close to God [with a contrite heart] and He will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; and purify your [unfaithful] hearts, you double-minded [people].
King David wrote:
Psalm 73:28
But as for me, it is good for me to draw near to God; I have made the Lord God my refuge and placed my trust in Him, That I may tell of all Your works.
Have you placed your trust in Jesus? Turn to Jesus. Allow God to turn your heart. That’s a win-win choice.
God wants us to go to Him. If we approach God in conversation, in “prayer”, He listens to what we have to say…if we humble our soul James 4:10. We must approach God with a true and sincere heart free of deceit and self-will.
He says:
Matthew 11:28
“Come to Me, all who are weary and heavily burdened [by religious rituals that provide no peace], and I will give you rest [refreshing your souls with salvation].”
Every day, through0ut the day, I choose to live for Jesus. I’m living my life for Christ here on earth – so I can live with Christ over on the other side. That’s a perfect goal – you think? Or do you have a better goal?
He said, “In the future you will see me revealed“. Now THAT is what I hope for: that He is coming soon – very soon. I am especially motivated by that promise: He is returning to earth soon – in Person!

301 Things you are in Christ | Author: CGrobler

Called by Jesus to be forever on a higher level Excerpt: Salvation is more
We have more than eternity. Although that should be enough (!), through Christ we have more, because we have been saved to a higher calling. We have an extreme, high calling from our extreme High God.
Have you accepted this? Or are you still so dull of hearing, still sneering, still clinging to your rotten sinfulness that we all struggle with, still unwilling to accept Jesus as Lord and Savior?
Being faithful, little by little Excerpt: Faithfulness is a process. We live, we try, we fail, we sin – but the faithful then repent, turn to God again, and move on in faith, believing God that we will be stronger next time.
The faithful develop a pattern of an overcoming faith. The pattern we strive towards, each day, is: we live, we conquer, we act by the power of the Holy Spirit. Believers do not accept sin in their life as normal and acceptable before God.

Staying Alive Excerpt: The faithful have a faith that is staying alive day by day. Through all our struggles, we keep our eyes on Jesus, saying yes to Him and saying no to sin – following Him by faith.
Living It Deep Excerpt:
The worst about life
is an end without Christ
abandoned desert heart
tender fatherless orphan
Such awareness of alone
so intense to be left alone
I’m hollow full of empty wants
no one cares I’m there or not
such absorbing pain no hope….
Living the good life – with courage and confident hope
The reality of incompleteness on earth
Peaceful easy feeling Excerpt: How peaceful, lying here at night, knowing all is well with Christ my Lord. What an incredibly peaceful, easy feeling I have in my inner soul.
The Bible tells me I am right with God. I have been born again. I am a new creature now, changed by God, made brand new — and I have nothing to fear, for God is my Savior. There is nothing more I need, for God Himself has made me His child.
I Know Whom I Have Believed – Hymn Lyrics and Info | Author/Writer: D. W. Whittle (1883) | hymnallibrary.org | “…was written in 1883 by Daniel Webster Whittle, a Civil War veteran who became a well-known evangelist and hymn writer after his conversion. Whittle, often writing under the pen name “El Nathan,” composed many gospel songs that emphasized assurance of salvation and confidence in Christ’s keeping power…. Excerpt:
Refrain:
But “I know Whom I have believed,
And am persuaded that He is able
To keep that which I’ve committed
Unto Him against that day.”
James 1: verses 2-4. 2 Consider it nothing but joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you fall into various trials. 3 Be assured that the testing of your faith [through experience] produces endurance [leading to spiritual maturity, and inner peace]. 4 And let endurance have its perfect result and do a thorough work, so that you may be perfect and completely developed [in your faith], lacking in nothing.
___________
Philippians 1:6 I am convinced and confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will [continue to] perfect and complete it until the day of Christ Jesus [the time of His return].

I’m Christian because He chose me Excerpt: Do you know who you are? I know who I am because the Bible says who I am in Christ. In fact, I am 301 things “in Christ”! Because Jesus is my Savior, I live with confidence and assurance (2 Corinthians 5:8). He’s got this!
Jesus can save your soul for all eternity
Salvation is immediate – not delayed until after “enduring to the end”
Waiting for “the real real” Excerpt: “We are waiting on the real real”
We are in a forge, and things are getting hotter. As we enter a new year, we are faced with daunting challenges, fears, and uncertainty. To get through this, we must be firm in our faith, be strong in Him – and wait patiently for Jesus to return as promised.
He is greater than all our fears. The God of the Ages has a plan that He assures us is being worked-out.
What God does to prepare you for Heaven
The non-stop work of God inside you and me…God begins a work inside us to make our “spirit and soul and body”…”complete and…blameless”
Up and out of the miry clay Excerpt: I thank God every day that He brought me up, out of the miry clay Psalm 40:2-3. I am sure as Hell that you have seen the miry clay, the sins. Have you, sure as Heaven, personally experienced the mind-bending, clean-up, brand new making power of Jesus – Creator God?
Passing on through to the other side…and getting into His Kingdom
John 3:3
“Truly, truly, I say to you,
unless one is born again
he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
Dividing Eternity Excerpt: God will not be mocked (Galatians 6:7). You will be forever on one side of eternity, or the other. What side of the line is your hoeing taking you?
Galatians 6:7
“Do not be deceived, God is not mocked [He will not allow Himself to be ridiculed, nor treated with contempt nor allow His precepts to be scornfully set aside]; for whatever a man sows, this and this only is what he will reap.”
Body by God Excerpt: Understanding My Life’s Care and Content label. It´s like we all have a tag on the back of our neck. Just like any pair of jeans – the designer stitches-in his name. I have a tag on me, and it says: Body by God.
“I am fearfully and
wonderfully made
…my soul knows it very well“
– Psalm 139:14
Is your life fruit – Agape Love?
Feeling Insignificant Excerpt: Feeling insignificant. That’s when I pray.
There is a reason I don’t shrink into a dark waste hole of waaah – where they “call whine-one-one”, and ask for a “waaahmbulance”. What could become despair, is slowly drawn to hope, as I focus on:
the fantastic plans He has for me.
Pairing with God…An easy morning prayer to start it right
Pray joyfully with thanks to God for He is good A quick read of Psalm 100. Excerpt: Entering into prayer is a joyful experience. Because I am His sheep. I’m in His pasture. He is my Shepherd Psalm 23. All is good with my soul.
God is “faithful and absolutely trustworthy” to you in your salvation
Vile to Jesus…the sins
Flesh and blood absolutely cannot inherit the Kingdom of God…we are born in need of a Savior

Running with sin and calling it “just fine with me”
Charismatic religious sins you take for granted every week but you are practicing sin
So you think you are a Christian saved by His amazing grace Excerpt: Been saved? Been duped? In that Moment of IF…when a sinner repents – God will hear you IF you are honest and sincere. Don’t let the false practices of others rob you of the eternity you really want.
So you think you are a Christian
saved by His amazing grace
yet you were not honest nor sincere
how we know is how we live and think
after mouthing I accept you Jesus
you thought your sinful soul was saved
but what good your Jesus moment
when each day you spout the Devil’s lies….
What is your brand?…who you are
The problem with different brands of Christian faith
Ever grasped that feeling of being wrong with Jesus?
Are you being warned by the Holy Spirit about being “out“?

Conversations with God…approach God in conversation, “prayer”. Jesus knows your thoughts. Excerpt: Self-talk can be God-talk. All that self-talk we all engage our minds in throughout the day? “Talk it” to God.
You can direct all your self-talk to God as prayer. You can have intimate conversations with God in the privacy of your inner self. That is just so totally awesome!
Go to God for salvation and for His strength for living
Accepting all that Jesus Christ is and does
It really is Eternity at stake here

Receive the Kingdom like a child
Luke 18:17 AMP
“…whoever
does not receive
the kingdom of God
[with faith and humility]
like a child
will not enter it at all.”
– Jesus Messiah

What are the odds of you going to Hell?…what are the chances?
Betting your eternity on your thinking Excerpt:
So, you say you are rejecting Jesus and the Bible? And your thinking is developed …how?
Here in the Bible we have 66 books of thought and data, developed over the course of many centuries, written, and confirmed by evidences of all types. And you? Where does your brand of thinking come from?
How long have you been thinking? You’re staking your eternity on THAT?
Are you still captive under God’s condemnation or freed from it forever? Excerpt: I really rather prefer this:
No condemnation
…a permanent condition of “freed forever” by the grace of God
See all references in one link or singly: Romans 8:1, John 3:18, John 5:24
How eternally liberating it is! Oh how marvelous to be freed from condemnation!

“…in the future
you will see Me revealed….”
The Meetup down the road Excerpt: Even if you never believed in Hell, you’ll come to realize: really and truly there is a place called Hell. This place is no mere legend, not some fictional horror movie set, but: Hell by God. The Bible warns about it many times. (See: Hell in the Bible)
There is a place
assigned to go
where nowhere else exists
but there.
It’s far from where God’s blessings flow;
it’s bad and worse,
no good at all.

What are the odds of you going to Hell?
There is a broad road that says Heaven but goes to Hell…It leads to destruction
Go to God for Salvation and for His strength for living
Not afraid of Hell…but, there is a place Excerpt:
Not afraid of hell…
but I’m afraid of snakes
but I’m afraid of dying
but I’m afraid of getting hurt
but I’m afraid of being stupid
but I’m afraid of getting into a car accident
but I’m afraid of gangs
but I’m afraid of getting beat to hell
but I’m afraid of cancer
but I’m afraid of my ex…
That sudden flash of realization saying “Oh damn!”
The ultra extreme unresolvable horror upon arrival for God’s condemnation
My terrors in the dark place…what horror!
The word of a Judge Excerpt:
We all know that the word of a judge is final. (Well, until a dissenting appeal goes to the Supreme Court.)
And so we understand power, and judgement. We fear the finality of it all – the finality of the powerfully spoken word of the judge.
The same is true of Almighty Judge, the One who presides in the heavens. We absolutely must not underestimate the finality of God’s decrees.
There is no greater fear possible on earth nor anywhere in the universe — than fear of Judgement Day. Do you feel it? That fearsome fear of the final judgement of God Almighty on His Judgement Day. There will be no second chance, no forgiveness, no hope of appeal whatsoever, no delay on that day, no last minute reprieve by a higher authority, no pardon from any sector. His judgement will be final.
