An extremely chilling phenomena is happening right now
What follows is very disturbing
We learn a very disturbing fact from John, the disciple whom Jesus loved. See: BibleGateway search “whom Jesus loved“
John reveals to us in 1 John 2:18-19 that there is an extremely chilling phenomena happening right now, during “the end of this age” — an age in which we are lucky to be living:
so-called Christians
are not actually real, true Christians
John puts it this way:
“…even now many antichrists (false teachers) have appeared, which confirms our belief that it is the last hour. 19 They went out from us [seeming at first to be Christians], but they were not really of us [because they were not truly born again and spiritually transformed]….”
1 John 2:18-19

Palehorse74_book-of-life_Heaven | Art by Pete Garcia | rev310.net
Why do I write about this so much? I am extremely concerned for the millions who are being misled into apostasy. Instead of coming to the knowledge of salvation in Jesus, they are flocking to a belief in a false christianity
– a faith that does not – save.
Scary thought: Many are “not truly born again and spiritually transformed” (1 John 2:18-19). Family, friends, neighbors… are being led astray.
Mark them
Mark them which cause divisions …and avoid them, Scripture tells us.
We who truly follow the Godman Jesus must take-on the responsibility which Scripture lays-out for us: Be calling out false teachers. Protect the flock.
We surely must be actively speaking with love about what is true and what is false – naming names and teaching correct doctrine, believing eyewitness witnesses of Christ and following what they taught.
We should be vigilant watchers, looking-out for heresies in the church – with what is preached, what is taught, and what is sung for worship. We should read Scripture – because it reveals Truth. As a “watcher”, I for one am becoming a fiery hot, glowing, Rapture Ready Watcher, speaking-out for God’s Truths! How about you?
There is a different gospel that does not save, and there is The Gospel of Jesus Christ that does save. Your family member’s names, your friend’s names, your neighbor’s names… are not in The Book of the Living unless they turn to Jesus and become truly born again.

NAR-types are not of God
Looking into the NAR-type doctrines of today, we can discern that the folks who follow them have deviated from the Bible. Any belief that goes outside the Bible – is outside the purview of “following Jesus“.
Because these folks make NAR doctrines integral to the practice of their faith, theirs is an apostate Christianity. I wonder if they ever have an inkling that they are wrong with Jesus?
See:
The NAR – “A New ‘Reformation’ That Many Don’t Realize They’ve Joined
Words of Mere Men are not God’s Word
A careful reading of Scripture reveals that the NAR-types are not of God:
* They follow “another gospel“, a different belief system.
* They do not believe in “The Gospel of Jesus Christ” as revealed in the Bible, which is clearly explained in the Gospel books of Matthew, Mark, Luke, John and Paul.
* They disobey Old Testament parameters for “speaking for God. “I am against you” God says
* Instead they believe their own prophets (“false prophets“) — even though they have prophesied falsely before.
* They twist and misinterpret what should be very clear to them in the Bible.
* They have a “cracked heart” full of rebellion, self-centeredness, and what-have-you

Show me actual false teachings
Are you being warned by the Holy Spirit about being “out”?
________
The thousands of apostate churches are filled with those who “went out from us” (1 John 2:19…”but…none of them are of us.”). The Bible is clear on this: “they were not really of us“(1 John 2:19).
Thus we know that they are obviously not guided by the Spirit, nor speaking for Him. So why listen to false teachers and false prophets?!

PIC: WhatDoesTheGospelPromiseUs. By fitl.
Apostate leaders claim the Holy Spirit speaks to them. However, John tells us, that if we expect the Holy Spirit to teach us, and guide us, and lead us, and be powerful in us:
“…you must remain in Him [being rooted in Him, knit to Him].” – 1 John 2:27
He does not even reside in them! Why do we say this? Because apostates were never saved, never indwelt, never “of us”, ever (per 1 John 2:19). Nice loving people, perhaps, but… not on the right train.
See:
About being apostate… following “another gospel”
Warning to us against becoming Apostate
Jesus will reject many Christians
What NAR-types teach — is not from the Spirit of God. In fact, Scripture reveals to us “they were not really of us“. To be accurate, they in fact never “left the faith” – they never were in it! Their teachings are false, twisted, misleading, and come from “deceitful and seductive spirits” and “doctrines of demons”. That is what 1 Timothy 4:1 tells us. Scary thought.
They in fact are not paying attention to the Spirit. There is no Holy Spirit in them to listen to! The spirit they listen to and follow – is the evil spirit, Satan, and his minons.
The Spirit is not telling them anything. He is not revealing new revelations. They imagine their new doctrines – think ’em up! The reality is disturbing. These false Christians are truly…
“paying attention instead
to deceitful and seductive spirits
and doctrines of demons”
– 1 Timothy 4:1
See:
They in fact have seen nothing
Having fellowship with God
If we read 1 John 1:5-10… we learn that merely saying we have it – does not mean we really do have it:
6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness [of sin], we lie and do not practice the truth;
The truly saved person is truly walking “in the Light”.
7 but if we [really] walk in the Light [that is, live each and every day in conformity with the precepts of God], as He Himself is in the Light, we have [true, unbroken] fellowship with one another [He with us, and we with Him]
NAR-types are practicing what Scripture says not to practice. They walk in religious practices that are “in the darkness [of sin]” (verse 6 of 1 John 1:5-10).
That is what 1 John 1 is saying to us.
6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness [of sin], we lie and do not practice the truth;
7 but if we [really] walk in the Light [that is, live each and every day in conformity with the precepts of God], as He Himself is in the Light, we have [true, unbroken] fellowship with one another [He with us, and we with Him],
and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin [by erasing the stain of sin, keeping us cleansed from sin in all its forms and manifestations]. – 1 John 1:5-10
NAR-types make-believe that 1 John 2:27 applies to them, but this passage only applies to true believers:
“As for you, the anointing [the special gift, the preparation] which you received from Him remains [permanently] in you, and you have no need for anyone to teach you. But just as His anointing teaches you [giving you insight through the presence of the Holy Spirit] about all things, and is true and is not a lie, and just as His anointing has taught you, [a]you must remain in Him [being rooted in Him, knit to Him].” – 1 John 2:27
They overlook the warning here that they must be “abiding in Him”:
“you must remain in Him [being rooted in Him, knit to Him].”
1 Timothy 4: verses 1-2 AMP
But the [Holy] Spirit explicitly and unmistakably declares that in later times some will turn away from the faith, paying attention instead to deceitful and seductive spirits and doctrines of demons, 2 [misled] by the hypocrisy of liars whose consciences are seared as with a branding iron [leaving them incapable of ethical functioning],
They never “received from Him” anything (basically, except His attempts to convict them of their sins). They are not indwelt, “not of us”, and thus were never “…rooted in Him, knit to Him“.
“Sealed up until the end of time”
People often overlook these Old Testament prophecies of Daniel. See them here: Daniel 12:9, Verse 10 of Daniel 12:8-13.
“…for the words are concealed and sealed up until the end of time.” – Daniel 12:9
“…those who are [spiritually] wise will understand.” – Verse 10 of Daniel 12:8-13
Peter knew
God warned us that, for His purposes, He would keep some inspired prophecies hidden from understanding “until the end of time” (v9). Well, we are now understanding a lot of prophecies — precisely because we are in the end of time and we are those spiritually wise: “…those who are [spiritually] wise will understand” (Verse 10 of Daniel 12:8-13).
Incomprehensible prophecies “hidden” in the Bible were given by God for our understanding in these later days:
12 It was revealed to them that they were not serving themselves, but you, in these things….”
– 1 Peter 1:12
God does not give us new revelations to understand those “hidden” prophecies. Not needed! We are in those end times, and, as told by God to Isaiah: prophecies are finally opening-up to our eyes.
And my message and my preaching were not in persuasive words of wisdom [using clever rhetoric], but [they were delivered] in demonstration of the [Holy] Spirit [operating through me] and of [His] power [stirring the minds of the listeners and persuading them], – 1 Corinthians 2:4
Paul kept his life free from “active sin”. When he sinned – he promptly confessed and repented.
See more about “habitual practices” here:
Caught-up with a practice God has said not to practice?
A problem between us and God begins when one agrees with active sin – and does not repent. If the believer habitually deviates from righteous living, it shows he does not have the power of the Holy Spirit.
That believer is then not abiding in the Spirit. And, obviously, the NAR-type false believers do not even have the Spirit in them.
The Believer:
“…you must remain in Him [being rooted in Him, knit to Him].” – 1 John 2:27
The False Believer:
“They went out from us [seeming at first to be Christians], but they were not really of us [because they were not truly born again and spiritually transformed]; for if they had been of us, they would have remained with us; but they went out [teaching false doctrine], so that it would be clearly shown that none of them are of us.” – 1 John 2:19
Only as we abide in Him – does the Spirit work through us. If we continue in our sin (unrepentant), then the Spirit is “grieved”… and we are not “abiding”, not staying alive, so to speak, and thus His Spirit is not working through us and our prayers are hindered. He continues “in us” — but His power does not.
Warning: However, if we habitually practice a sin, then His Spirit is not even in us and we were never saved in the first place. Scary thought. 1
Thus, again, we must acknowledge that both 1) (the disobedient) unbeliever NAR-types, and 2) the disobedient born again ones — do not have the Spirit working in power through them. However, one (the NAR-type) is NOT saved, and the other (the disobedient) IS SAVED. The 1) NARers never had the Spirit in them; whereas 2) the Spirit never leaves the born again ones, but He is “quenched” by active sin.
Mark 13:28-37 AMP

* “practicing sin” (habitually accepting sin)
and
*struggling against our “persistant sin” (with a persistent repenting of sin).
