Jesus set the bar high…Google it: “setting the bar”
When it comes to “qualifying” for Heaven, Jesus set the bar. Heaven is His Home, so, you know — He can.
Nobody else can. You can’t. I can’t. Nor can some pastor, some NAR-Charismatic apostle or pastor, or any modern day prophet (none – other than the prophet Jesus), not some guru, not the Pope, not anyone. No mere human can set their own parameters for what will save them for Heaven. Nobody.
And it must be said: Technically nobody “qualifies” for Heaven. You don’t qualify – you repent and Jesus saves you. Jesus saves the repentant sinner. Outright. On the spot! “Doing” is not necessary for getting saved. Calling on Him with repentance? That is necessary.
“Whosoever will may come”. Nobody is “qualified”. Call on Jesus. Believe in the Name of Jesus! That is not “qualifying”. Salvation is: accepting all that Jesus is and does. He does the saving. We do the following.
And it shall be that
everyone who calls
on the name of the Lord
will be saved.
– Acts 2:21 (also: Luke 9:23; John 14:6)
Explaining Salvation…what will “save” you
If you are going to listen to a mere human — you’ve got to then compare their words with God’s words, the Bible. Make sure that what they say is what God says. Or …your final destination may not end where you thought you were going.
Words of mere men are not God’s Words. And when it comes to salvation, well then, THAT you absolutely do not want to be wrong about.
Is what you say — truly what God says?
Excerpt from Modified Source: Words of Mere Men Are Not God’s Words
Words of God
The greatest danger for the Christian Church is when, from outside and from within churches, “words of mere men” are mixed in with biblical truth – and accepted as coming directly from God. True Christians, however, base all they believe – on the Bible, pure and unadulterated.
God revealed the Gospel…back in the day – Salvation was a mystery
God established the Gospel of Christ based upon revelations that He inspired. He did this (1) through His prophets during Old Testament times, and (2) during the early church times — through His disciple-apostles to produce the New Testament. The New Testament writers were sanctioned by Jesus Himself. God communicated both Testaments so accurately that it is said,
2 Timothy 3:16
All Scripture is God-breathed [given by divine inspiration] and is profitable for instruction, for conviction [of sin], for correction [of error and restoration to obedience], for training in righteousness [learning to live in conformity to God’s will, both publicly and privately—behaving honorably with personal integrity and moral courage];
As followers of Jesus, we do not put credence in what is based on the thinking of mere men. And there is no precedence for needing any secret revelations or new stuff to enhance our faith, as NAR-types are doing. The OT and the NT (Old Testament and New Testament) are all we need.
Our salvation by faith Jesus is based totally and only on the proven words of the Bible – OT and NT . Why add to what God has said?
– Modified Source: Words of Mere Men Are Not God’s Words
Sound doctrine, what God has made so very clear for us – gets distorted by false teachers. Plus, the call of the wild beckons. The enemies of our soul are always camping at the gates.
13 But evil men and impostors
will go on from bad to worse,
deceiving and being deceived.
– 2 Timothy 3:13
Only the parameters established by Jesus effectively show you what is necessary to be saved. Nothing else works. However, once Jesus saves you, wow! — You’re good to go for all eternity! John 10:27-30 THAT just totally blows my mind.
Jesus and Paul spoke very specifically about having a share in the Kingdom of God 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 and conversely – not having any share in it:
“You must be born again”
– John 3:7
9 Do you not know
that the unrighteous
will not inherit
or have any share in
the kingdom of God?
Do not be deceived….
– 1 Corinthians 6:9-10.
What does Jesus require
Lest we be deceived, let’s look at what we find in His Word, the Bible. What does Jesus require of us – before He will save anyone? God wants to save us all – but we must follow His simple parameters. Otherwise we miss-out on His free gift. Those parameters must be quite the thing!
What others say? They can’t get you to the Pearly Gates – much less inside, past the entrance. So it is important that we base our salvation solely on what the Bible says, what Jesus taught, what His disciples wrote.
Modern prophets were not ever with Jesus… so their prophecies and teachings are worthless to us. Be very careful with your salvation. Don’t entrust your eternity into the hands of others. Too many are wrong about Jesus. Work out your own salvation (Philippians 2:12).
There are parameters we must get right, without which we are lost forever. I’d say that’s pretty important. Puts a new twist to a familiar saying:
“Damned if you don’t, saved if you do.”
Being one of the “unRighteous” is cheap and easy 1 Corinthians 6:9-10. Just keep on as you are. I’ve put together a list you can do – on your way. It will be painful, but it’s free.
On the other hand, salvation will cost you. Seek the Lord and listen. The Holy Spirit is at work in you.
21 Your ears will hear
a word behind you,
“This is the way, walk in it,”
whenever you turn
to the right or to the left.
– Isaiah 30:21
Salvation is a matter of the heart. It’s not a matter of “getting it all right”. His amazing grace is gracious with our lack of understanding and He knows us well. Jesus is truly an Amazing Grace Forgiver.
However, Jesus absolutely requires that we yield Him 100% of our heart – and then He saves us on the spot. Oh how marvelous!
Salvation absolutely requires obedience to Jesus. Are you saying “Yes” but living “No” to Jesus? That’s malarkey Google it. That is dishonest. No “entrance granted” if living contrary.
Many religious folk have a cracked heart attitude. Jesus left the earth, so He is not physically right next to us to say, “Hey! There is one thing that you still lack in order to inherit eternal life.” So instead of going away sad, some have gone away thinking erroneously that they were saved.
– Source: Got a Cracked Heart?
The rich young ruler (Mark 10:17; Luke 18:18; Matthew 19:16) turned away from God totally disappointed because he loved his lifestyle more than he loved Jesus. He thought he had it all together, that he was absolutely ready to meet his Maker.
That you? What will it be like to miss the way to heaven — because you lacked just one thing?!
– Source: One thing you lack.
Some say “what can I get away with”. But that indicates an unrepentant heart. And salvation absolutely requires repentance.
So, let’s examine minutely Google it the specifics of what Jesus requires of us.
What are the specificities? MerWeb: specificity. The specifics.
Specific salvation parameters Jesus requires
Your eternity depends on this:
Accepting all that Jesus Christ is and does

PIC: open.Bible. From inhisimage.blog#Parameter1GotToWantIt
Salvation parameter
1. Got to want it. First thing.
This is how Jesus put it: “If anyone wishes to….”
Matthew 16:24
24 Then Jesus said to His disciples,
“If anyone wishes to
follow Me
[as My disciple],
he must….”
If you do not wish to… well, you know – God has given you a choice. Don’t want to pursue God? Don’t want to meet-up with Him?
Don’t want it – His salvation? I certainly do not recommend that, but…there is a place for you.
Well then, just go ahead like you are doing. Go for it!
Practice for Hell
In fact, the Bible provides us with a list of sins we can practice to go to Hell. Just so you know.
Refuse to admit your sin. You will get what you want. However, once you get there, you’ll realize you passed-up what you REALLY wanted. But, big bummer, it’s too late by then. There is no second chance in Hell.
Excerpt from Hell Fire Insurance Agents
You don’t have to go there. You can choose now to change your eternity!
The short salvation message
Act now. Now is the time to choose Jesus.
In this passage of Matthew, Jesus gives us a short salvation message with specific parameters:
24 Then Jesus said to His disciples,
“If anyone
wishes to follow Me
[as My disciple], he must
deny himself
[set aside selfish interests],
and take up his cross
[expressing a willingness
to endure whatever may come]
and follow Me
[believing in Me,
conforming to
My example in living
and, if need be,
suffering or perhaps dying
because of faith in Me].
– Matthew 16:24
First thing is to want it.
Want it… to know it – God’s message to us. The choice is ours. Jesus said “…wish to follow Me”.
Matthew 16:24 teaches us:
- Wish to be My disciple
- Must deny himself [set aside selfish interests]
- Must take up his cross [expressing a willingness to endure whatever may come]
- Must follow Me [believing in Me, conforming to My example in living and, if need be, suffering or perhaps dying because of faith in Me].
Makes sense: His Universe, His Creation – His Way. We must….
Jesus is not some namby-pamby little god, hoping someone will follow Him. Father God Almighty does not have to “hope” for anything!
Who do you think you are anyway? Just a mere speck in the mix? Well, yes and no. Yes – a tiny speck. But a speck of huge value!
The Bible actually teaches that God valued you so much that He came down to earth to die in your place. We have great significance! Significance – THAT is what Jesus gives us. But we must follow Him to be saved. He requires it.
Salvation parameter
2. Pray with sincerity and truth. Be real with God.
When you come to God for salvation, do you think God is fooled if you are insincere, or not saying the truth? Think again. He sees inside your insides. Your heart? It is bare open. Insincerity and falseness? He sees those, and absolutely does not save you. Very scary thought.
Will you be turned away by Jesus?
In the heart of one who is turned away by God — deep inside there is something not totally true, some way that is not sincere. Do you know yourself well…enough to see that?
Turned-away by Jesus
Excerpt from: Will you be turned away by Jesus?
I am so very, very concerned for you. Have you ever considered the possibility that YOU yourself will be turned-away by Jesus when you meet Him? Will Jesus say to you, “One thing you lack“, or, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me…’ (Matthew 7:23)?
Are there issues you are adamant about, those few pet peeves of yours, that perhaps are actually … putting you in the realm of “living in sin“?
The “not-truly-saved”
Have you made decisions to accept sin in your life …what God calls sin?
– Source: Will you be turned away by Jesus?

not totally true,
nor sincere,
in the heart
of one who is
turned away
by God.
Excerpt from God hears us and wants us to approach Him with sincere and honest prayer.
Accepting His Salvation
At whatever age, anywhere, anytime, God will respond to any seeker — if he/she comes before God in a prayer of repentance — with sincerity and honesty.
However, if we come before God in prayer for salvation with a cracked heart, with something not yielded to Him, with unrepentant sin, with an unrepentant heart… does God answer your prayer and save your soul?
I’m afraid not. The question becomes: Were you fully yielded when you prayed for Him to save you? (Not sinless, but yeilding sincerely and in truth.)
– Source: God hears us and wants us to approach Him with sincere and honest prayer.
Salvation parameter
3. Believe with all your heart. 1 John 5:13
Believe in the Name of Jesus. To believe means… being 100% given-over to Jesus. Not sinless but willing to change.
“For with the heart a person believes [in Christ as Savior] resulting in his justification [that is, being made righteous—being freed of the guilt of sin and made acceptable to God]; and with the mouth he acknowledges and confesses [his faith openly], resulting in and confirming [his] salvation.” – Romans 10:10. Also see: Matthew 16:24
The Proof is all there
The Proof about Jesus is all there. Easy to see. We just reject it outright, or believe.
Learn more here about the biblical type of “believe” – what it means to “Believe” in the Name of Jesus.
Believing “in the name…” means accepting “all that Jesus Christ is and does”. See BibleGateway list of references to: “the name of Jesus“.
When you, if you did, or I, said, “I accept Christ as my Lord and Savior”, a whole lot of “accepting” is going on there in that moment in time. Are you aware of what-all it actually requires to truly “accept Christ”?
– Source: Believe” in the Name of Jesus.
We did not just say,
Or did you say that? Scary thought.
Excerpt from Being 100% given-over to Jesus
We are saved through grace and sheer mercy. We are not saved by how we vote, nor by what party we join.

* But, beware – our worldview reveals where our heart stands.
* But, beware — voting shows what we stand for.
* But, beware — being faithful to Jesus means we live daily…while set on God’s will, His values and His purposes.

Are you one of those that says one thing and does another?
- Do you acknowledge the dissidence between your “want-a-be” and your whatch-ya-be?
- Do you say “I’m a Christian” but you live like …something else?
- Do you say “Ya, I know I’m not living like I know Jesus would like me to”?
- Do you vote for a hell of a lot of things Jesus never would have voted for?
- Does your lifestyle match-up with Jesus’ lifestyle?
- Does your worldview look anything close to Jesus’ worldview?
- Are there whole sections of Bible you’ve tossed-out and replaced with your own brand of thinking?
- Have you bothered to look at the Bible to know it?
- Have you looked at the Bible to see how distant you are from Jesus’ biblical statements and standards?

Salvation parameter
4. Confess your sins to God and repent of them. Acts 17:30-31
God is asking us to repent.
Are you not willing to call a spade – a spade? Not willing to call your actions “sin”, when that is what the Bible calls them? Not willing to bow the knee. Not willing to turn from your sin – and turn to God? Well, that is what God requires.

PIC: Grand Canyon-South_April2011
Are you in a place where you refuse to admit your sin? What? Do you plan to take your sin to Heaven with you… keeping sin AND getting God’s Holiness also?
We don’t get into a Holy Kingdom by being sinful! What are you thinking?! God requires that the repentant confessor take a stand against sin.
Your ways, your views
I’ve seen many a view an opinion expressed online from self-proclaimed “Christians”, views that do not align with Scripture. They seem to be willing to go against what Jesus taught, and then slip into Heaven? What what what?
What about you? Are you taking hate, and your ways, your views – to Holy Heaven? Think again. That ain’t happenin’.
Salvation parameter
5. Confess with your mouth. One link: Matthew 10:32, Luke 12:8, Romans 10:10, Matthew 16:24, Romans 10:9-13
Paul affirms we must confirm our confession:
“…with the mouth he acknowledges and confesses [his faith openly], resulting in and confirming [his] salvation.”
– Romans 10:10. Also see: Matthew 16:24
In one way or another, tell everyone: Now I follow Jesus.
“Jesus is my Lord and Savior.”
“Now I belong to Jesus.”
Confessing it shows your faith is real. You are real. This is the truism: “Put your money where your mouth is.” No confession of your faith? Why is that?! Well, then, was there anything happening there at all? The Gospel requires it.
“Therefore, the one who confesses and acknowledges Me before men [as Lord and Savior, affirming a state of oneness with Me], that one I will also confess and acknowledge before My Father who is in heaven.
– Matthew 10:32. Also: Luke 12:8

Romans 10:9-13. Verse 9:
… if
you acknowledge and confess
with your mouth
that Jesus is Lord
[recognizing His power, authority,
and majesty as God],
and believe in your heart
that God raised Him from the dead,
you will be saved.
Salvation parameter
6. Acknowledge Jesus as Lord, as is said in Romans 10:9-13. You cannot serve two masters and be saved.
We see this stated specifically in verse 9. Jesus must be your Savior & your Lord. Acknowledging Jesus as your “Lord” is “recognizing His power, authority, and majesty as God“. If Jesus is not Lord, then He is not God. Paul is saying here: Recognize Jesus “as God”.
The rest of Scripture leads us to understand that Jesus is part of the Trinity. God is One, but He is “three in one”: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. There is only one God.
What if? God looks inside your soul and says “I am not your Lord”
You cannot have it your way. Anything plus Jesus… is never going to be acceptable to Jesus. He must be Lord.
His offer is found here in Luke 9:23 (and in many other passages). This verse is what it means to actually “Believe in the name of Jesus“: “conforming to My example in living and, if need be, suffering or perhaps dying because of faith in Me”
[as My disciple],
he must deny himself
[set aside selfish interests],
and take up his cross daily
[expressing a willingness
to endure whatever may come]
and follow Me
conforming to My example in living
and, if need be, suffering
or perhaps dying because of faith in Me].”
– Luke 9:23
If you accept Him,
He will accept you.
Explaining Luke 9:23
This is just one verse! Lets break this down so we understand what Jesus is expecting:
“If anyone wishes to follow Me”: wish it, want it, follow it with all you got.
“[as My disciple]”: be active with Him, learn from Him – not just be “a fan” – but be His disciple
“he must deny himself”: look to God’s interests and the interests of others. Not egocentric, MerWeb: selfish, egotistical, egoistical, narcissistic, self-centered, solipsistic, egomaniacal, self-absorbed.
“[set aside selfish interests]”: make space in your daily life for others and the Gospel – to the extreme of perhaps minimizing self-pursuits, self interests.
“and take up his cross daily”:“expressing a willingness to endure whatever may come”
“and follow Me”: means…
believing in Christ (in the New Testament sense of “believe”)
conforming to the example of Christ – Romans 12:1-3…”mature spiritually] by the renewing of your mind [focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes“
suffering because of faith in Christ,
dying perhaps, if it comes to that.
All of this is “because of faith in Me“.
That was Luke 9:23. Whew!
Makes sense:
His Universe,
His Creation –
His Way.
We must….
Salvation is one sinner agreeing with God that he needs a Savior, calling on Jesus to forgive him, and following His Way all the way, no holding back. Anything less is just religion.

The nonSalvation parameter
7. “Have no other gods before Me”
Excerpt from The one who is an idolater:
There is a place for idolaters
In the Bible, it’s a no-brainer: No one “who is an idolater, has an inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.” No exception. Scary thought.
The idolater accepts an object to worship in place of God, and/or is ensnared by an addiction that leads to sin, and/or develops a practice that enslaves the soul. They are lost for eternity.
What kind of idol have you let into your life? Are you one who is an idolater? Beware: Idolaters still go to Hell. See:

8. Enlightened but not submitting to Jesus.

PIC: skies_peeling_back. By Pete Garcia rev310.net
What you don’t want to do (or: Have you already…?) is be a Hebrews 6:4-6 type – the God Damned Believer who is not saved at all, still condemned, still lost, usually clueless, never recovers because they think they are saved — but are not. Oh regret!
Hebrews 6:4-6…
“…the case of
those who have
once been enlightened
and have tasted
of the heavenly gift
and have been made partakers
of the Holy Spirit,
and have tasted
the good word of God
and the powers
of the age to come
and then have fallen away [e Or committed apostasy; i.e., renounced the faith]….”
1 Corinthians 9:24
“Do you not know that in a race all the runners run [their very best to win], but only one receives the prize? Run [your race] in such a way that you may seize the prize and make it yours!”
To get saved forever, you must “run” the Way Jesus taught us to run. He has laid-out the specifics.
Have you accepted the specificities of Jesus’ offer of salvation — “all that Jesus Christ is and does” (not just bits and pieces)? Have you sincerely repented and truthfully “believed” in Jesus? Are you honestly following Jesus? Or have you strayed, revealing you were not saved in the first place?
Believing “in the name…”
means accepting
“all that Jesus Christ
is and does”
It matters how you approach God. Eternally matters.
“Seize the prize and make it yours!”

Me, When I Die, Forgiven…forever in Christ
The Bible is the standard for Christian thought and practice. Not me. Not you.
Staying alive. James 1: verses 2-4. Excerpt: The faithful have a faith that is staying alive day by day.
Faithfulness is a process. We live, we try, we fail, we sin – but the faithful then repent, turn to God again, and move on in faith, believing God that we will be stronger next time. The faithful develop a pattern of an overcoming faith. The pattern we strive towards, each day, is: we live, we conquer, we act by the power of the Holy Spirit. Believers do not accept sin in their life as normal and acceptable before God.

Where do you start, in this quest to justify yourself? What do you say to yourself and others, to convince yourself in your philosophy of life? How do you argue away the claims of Jesus, so that He is wrong and you are right?
Looking for a loophole,
said unto Jesus,
And who is my neighbour?

Why might many Charismatics not be saved
Caught-up with a practice God has said not to practice?
Pretending their word is God’s Word
Are you contrary – not conforming to the Gospel?…living contrary?
Following…We do the following.
God wants all of us to be with Him
However, He will not change His Holy nature.
We must accept Him as He is…not vice versa Google it: It’s a Latin phrase “Vice versa” literally means “with the order turned around” or “the other way around”.

Ever grasped that feeling of being “wrong” with Jesus? Excerpt: These are what God has called “wrong“. Being Wrong:…when God Himself says, “You are wrong. ”Wrong #1….
These are wrong …and do not save you. God is against these practices. Scary thought.
Don’t be fooled again and again and again. Don’t be fooled into Hell.
(This list is from this section, This does not save you, inside the article, What saves you.)
These are wrong: According to Scripture…they are contradicting Jesus, denying Jesus, discarding what Jesus taught.
* “Believing” without doing. James 2:20TLB in James 2:14-26 “faith without works is dead”
* Believing in Jesus like Lucifer the Devil “believes”. We absolutely without fail “must” “believe” with a New Testament sense of the word.
* Hating and not forgiving others. See: | 1 John 3:14, Matthew 6:14-15, Matthew 18:35 | Hating is life changing – eternal life changing. Scary thought. |
* Religious practices that God has condemned.
* Practices of the flesh. See: Works of the flesh
* The “cracked heart”
* Not being all “in” for Him. James 2:20 See: Being 100% given-over to Jesus
* Rejecting God’s offer of salvation. Matthew 12:37 “…by your words [rejecting Me] you will be condemned and sentenced.”
* Keeping sin. – Playing with sin.
Is your light actually darkness? Excerpt: It is God’s word that fills us with light – not any of the multiple, vain, man-made philosophies cooked-up to make us feel wise (Zephaniah 3:4, Luke 11:52, John 8:47, 2 Corinthians 2:17, Philippians 4:8, 1 John 4:6). Our made-up ways are dark.
Jesus is saying here: “Be careful.” Wake up! That light in you — what is it, really? If it is not coming from Me [God Himself], then your “light” is actually darkness, no matter how smart you are. Your thinking is totally devoid of the One True God. Your life is then filled with the dark.
Why believe such stupididiotic things?
That moment of IF – when you choose your own thinking Excerpt: The dynamic crossroads is a moment in time where we choose, either God’s Way or Our Way. It’s actually a “Y” in the road where we make a huge decision: keep on going directly ahead, or choose the turn. Two Paths to choose from – You see, there is a meetup down the road.
Are you a goat or one of the sheep of His fold (Psalm 23)? Don’t let your moment of if morph into your eternal existence of not.
Be careful that no one misleads you
Following Someone…”following” Christ?
The tragic error many live in all their life
Following the Jesus who was not God
The Way of Salvation always involves obedience
Know your thinking – Save your future
Following…We do the following.
Do you plan to take your sin to Heaven with you?
We don’t get into a Holy Kingdom by being sinful
Contradicting Jesus…views that do not align with Scripture

Jeremiah 18:11-12
11 Now then, say to the men of Judah and to the citizens of Jerusalem, ‘Thus says the Lord, “Behold, I am shaping a disaster and working out a plan against you. Turn back, each of you from his evil way; correct your habits and change your actions for the better.”’
12 But they will say, ‘That is hopeless! For we are going to follow our own plans, and each of us will act in accordance with the stubbornness of his evil heart.’

Refuse to admit your sin Excerpt: Wandering Pagans
Unfortunately there are many on this wrong track. More and more “spiritual” people in the world at large these days come right out with it, saying sin is just fine with them. And many others within a church are set into their ways, complacent in their sinful practices they call “spiritual”…not realizing God is against their disobedient “spiritual” practices.
They have wandered into a fake faith that fails the Scripture tests. They have missed the train, so to speak. Their philosophy is shown by how they live and how they disobey what Jesus and His disciples taught. They will not be in on the Rapture.

Do not be deceived; [a]neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate [by perversion], nor [b]those who participate in homosexuality, 10 nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers [whose words are used as weapons to abuse, insult, humiliate, intimidate, or slander], nor swindlers will inherit or have any share in the kingdom of God.
