The saving grace of God is so totally, awesomely immense! But it is limited. It is not all-accepting, indiscriminately saying to all comers: “Welcome. Enter into My Kingdom”. God has limited His grace of salvation to be effective ONLY for those who are sincere in heart. God only saves those who truly repent of their […]
God’s System of Justice
Let’s look at the real God and His very real system of justice. Let’s look at this from within what His book tells us. These are the parts of God’s system:
Isaiah 53
https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Isaiah+53&version=NASB Isaiah 53 New American Standard Bible (NASB) The Suffering Servant 53 Who has believed our message? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed? 2 For He grew up before Him like a tender [a]shoot, And like a root out of parched ground; He has no stately form or majesty That we should […]
Tomorrow
Tomorrow is the fool’s day. Tomorrow may never come. This may be it. Today I choose Him, whatever comes.
The Life of Keith
What is your life all about? What drives you? What makes you what you are, today? The life of Keith (this man clicking-out these words) is “a born again life”, wholly committed to following Jesus. My goal each day: to be more and more like Christ my God. Not an overnight process. I am not the brightest bulb in the room!
2 Peter 3
2 Peter 3:1-18 The Day of the Lord Will Come 3 This is now the second letter that I am writing to you, beloved. In both of them g I am stirring up your sincere mind by way of reminder, 2 h that you should remember the predictions of i the holy prophets and the commandment of […]
God Speaking
Hey! I Am speaking here. You may know me simply as “God”. From the Old Testament, my name is, Jehovah, or Yahweh (pronounced ˈyäˌwā), or Lord, I Am – the One that made all there is. I have been calling you to come to Me. I tell you the truth – I still love you […]
Explaining “Natural”
In the beginning, we were the perfect creatures, humans made in the image of God. We all want to think we are still in Genesis 1. But actually we are changelings – born into Genesis 3 conditions, fallen in nature, quite consumed by the flesh.
God Is Not Distant
God is not some far away, distant-from-you, dis-concerned bubble of energy, inside some aura of mist on a mysterious planet far far away in a different galaxy. Star Trek might lead one to believe that! But the Bible says that Creator God created us to walk and talk with us, to commune with us, like He did with Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3:8).
Not Afraid of Hell
Hell. What will it be like? What does the Bible say about Hell?
Wishes and Prayers
We often hear the plea for “wishes and prayers” – when someone is in dire need. It’s a natural response from a heart desperate for help for the victim. For example: Tweet by Britney Spears: Need all the wishes and prayers for my niece FoxNews: Feb. 07, 2017 – 0:45 – Britney Spears asks fans […]
It’s Too Late
Statement from hell: “Just died and gone to hell. It’s too late to turn back now.”
What Jesus Taught
Do you know Jesus and what He taught? It is important to know in order to actually follow Him with all your heart. It is too easy to contradict Him… and begin to be against Him. Where are you at?
Vile To Jesus
God allows us total freedom to do whatever the hell we want. We love to be freeeeee! That tends to give us such a sense of “yippeeee!” that, as a consequence… our life can kind of get out of control. In the grip of our “yippeeee” lifestyle, we forget God and His ways. It’s just too much fun, we think. And it is true, we can do anything possible, but, as Jesus taught, there will be a day of reckoning. We have total freedom here on earth, but there are consequences. God does have standards.
Blasphemy
Taking the name of the Lord God in vain, blasphemy, is not a matter of words as much as a matter of the heart. It is all in the context. Oh my God! Contrast the use. See this phrase here, Psalm 59:1, where the Psalmist says it to God [and Psalm 83:13 in a prayer], […]
Psalm 59:1
“Oh, my God….” – Psalm 59:1
Romans 10:8-13
“The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart”—that is, the word of faith which we are preaching, 9 [e]that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; 10 for with the heart a person believes, [f]resulting […]
John 14:1-6
“Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me. 2 In My Father’s house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. 3 If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and […]
Matthew 7:21-24
21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. 22 Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, […]
1 John 2:16
16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world. – 1 John 2:16
Vortex of Good & Evil
As mere humans, we are engulfed in the vortex of battle between good and evil. Whether we like it, or not, that is the reality within this world that God created. We must remember – it is God who created us, not we ourselves. We have an obligation, by God, to choose Him, the Good, or continue, enslaved by Evil.
What Matters
What you say you believe, will someday be examined by God Himself – in His Court. It will reveal itself by what you actually have done. We are not saved by what we do, but the sincerity of our heart is revealed to God by what we do.
What a Crock – Having No Religious Affiliation
To say “I have no religious affiliation” is such a crock! Really!? Don’t you care about your eternity, where you will spend a million-years-to-the-infinite-number?
How Much Is Enough?
What about you and God? What is “enough” – for Jesus to approve of you? Approve of your repentance? Approve of your life? What is enough for Christ to actually save you? It is one thing “to wish” for and really really want God’s offer of salvation, but quite another thing to really, actually… deny, take up, and follow.
Can Jesus Forgive You?
Tomorrow may never come for you. Are you ready for that? Are you too far gone for God to care? Jesus showed that He cares. Jesus saves sinners. He saved me. You can come to Him.
You are My friends
Are you walking dead, or have you been made alive in Christ? Jesus said, “You are My friends if you do what I command you.” John 15:14 You are My friends if you do what I command you. In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations The context of verses (verses 7-17) around that statement […]
2 Timothy 4:1-8
I solemnly charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by His appearing and His kingdom: 2 preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with [a]great patience and instruction. 3 For the time will come when they […]
Through Grace and Sheer Mercy
Martin Luther was the one who first expressed it like this: “…I grasped that the righteousness of God is that righteousness by which through grace and sheer mercy God justifies us through faith.” Sheer mercy!
Unbeliefism
I am amazed by the lack of desire to know what is really true. You see this “unbeliefism” against Christian belief all over the internet. Many internet sites are entirely dedicated to promulgating this “unbeliefism”. Let’s look at one who is influenced totally by his unbeliefism toward the Christian faith.
Acting Wickedly
The Judge of All will define what is “wicked”. Not me, not you. The Bible is Gods’ Word about Himself and all His ways.
