Wrong as can be – Shincheonji, a pseudo-Christian-cult. PIC by wng.org
Because of the horrible hellbent, spiraling-downward-direction people are headed with their practices, it absolutely behooves me to write again about —
What is good and what is not
…according to God.
___________
Will God accept you?
That is the bottom line, the main question. What do you think? Will He?
I’m not talkin’ ’bout the pathetic, evil, way-lost weirdo who kills their own innocent children, or kills their own mother, or eats a fellow human! (Those cases are weekly news these days, it seems.) They do not repent. The limit there is not God’s grace. It’s their heart.
That lowest class of unrestrained human has little hope for “a change for the better”. They are way past the last stage of God’s working with them. He has given them free reign. They of themselves have “let sin reign” in their sick soul. God has given them over to sin.
Thinking you are “okay”
I’m addressing, here, the every-day-person who thinks they are okay… but are horribly not according to the Bible. They are “a life-unto-themself”.
How do you define “okay“? I define “okay” by eternal values: Is it okay with your soul in light of eternal values?
Is God “okay” with your soul? Will God accept you into His Holy Kingdom if you were to die today? As a born again Christian I can say with confidence: I am well with my soul – because God is okay with my soul. That is because Jesus saved me and He made me eternally well.
In my weak moments of doubt, I may fight my terrors in the dark place, but I fight the good fight and win. My soul is solidly grounded in Scripture and, more to the point, I abide in The Vine (John 15). See site search: “the Vine”.
“…in our fight against sin: apart from our Shepherd, the Holy Spirit and His strength… we are incapable of victory. Our only hope is to yield to His working in our life. Moment by moment – we must abide in the Spirit, full of His power in us. THEN we are invincible. But only then.”

“You are all wrong”, Jesus said
Do you realize who it was that Jesus was speaking to when He said, “You are all wrong“? Religious leaders! They thought they themselves had it all right.
But Jesus saw through them. He is God, after all. He knows our thoughts!
Jesus saw through them
Same with a certain rich, young ruler who came to Jesus by night. Jesus saw through Him. He thought he had it all right. “What more do I need…?”, he said. He assumed Jesus would say,
No problem Jack.
You’ve got it made in the shade.
It’s all good.
Come on over to the other side with Me
when it’s all over and done.
But Jesus did not say “No problem Jack“. Never has – never will. Won’t with you, either.
We have a problem with God. Why? Because God has a problem with those who reject His free-grace gift of forgiveness. Because He is Holy, God cannot accept us with sin. That’s the problem. Huge.
God has His Way. And that is the only Way. He made that Way Himself. After all, He is God… so He gets to.
Jesus would never say to Jack – “It’s all good“. No. That religious man had it all wrong (his name was actually Nicodemus). “It’s all wrong.” And Jesus let Him know what was what:
Jesus told Nicodemus, “One thing you lack.” “You must be born again” (John 3). And that is what Jesus is saying to you if you have not accepted Him yet.
To go to Heaven, you absolutely must ask God to re-make you, “be born again“. This is the Way of God, provided in Jesus. And we all must go the Way of God, His Way, or accept His rejection.
Jesus said the same with the The Rich Young Ruler in Matthew 19:16-22:
The rich young ruler (Mark 10:17; Luke 18:18; Matthew 19:16) turned away from God totally disappointed because he loved his lifestyle more than he loved Jesus. He thought he had it all together, that he was absolutely ready to meet his Maker. That you? What will it be like to miss the way to heaven — because you lacked just one thing?!
– Source: One thing you lack
That man? Well, “he left grieving and distressed, for he owned much property and had many possessions [which he treasured more than his relationship with God].” What? “More than his relationship with God”?
The wrong side of eternity …of the eternity divide
Without the salvation forgiveness of Jesus – no sinner will call to Jesus from their side and hear Him say from His side: “Come on over”. Without Christ — once you’re done and gone, you’re on the wrong side of the great divide…it’s over.
When it’s over — you will finally know you had it all wrong. Worst Bummer ever. Hell’s door opens-up… and you feel an unwelcome deep darkness: Welcome Home to Hell they’ll gloat! 1
On the wrong side – rejectors are there forever. Forever damned.
On God’s side – the redeemed share all things good. Forever blessed.
The proud who bow the knee
The forgiveness by God through Jesus — is reserved for the proud who bow the knee in humbleness, repent, and begin to follow Jesus. Satan never did that. Will you?
No repentance in your heart? …No forgiveness either.
In Acts 4:12 we read this:
“…There is salvation in no one else;
for there is
no other name under heaven
that has been given among people
by which we must be saved
[for God
has provided the world
no alternative
for salvation].”
– Acts 4:12
Want God’s approval? …step-up.
If we want His approval, then we need to understand what He expects of us (See all references in one link or: Mark 12:28-31, Deuteronomy 6:5, Luke 10:27). Jesus expects each of us to step-up to a higher level – His Kingdom level. Stepping-up does not save us, but that is part of the works that follow-after true salvation. Stepping-up gives living proof you have been truly redeemed.
When He came to earth, He stooped down to the low levels of our sinfulness. But never again. He died once for all (Romans 6:8-11) so that “whosoever will may come”. Once was enough – because He is God. His salvation is able to save you for all eternity.
That allowance by God
“Whosoever.” Years ago – that meant me – “whosoever” was me. When I was young I drew near to God, and Jesus saved me. That can be you now. That allowance by God that says “whosoever will may come”? That is for you, now.
“Deeds done in sin,
can be forgiven,
our guilt removed
“as far as the East is
from the West”
(Psalm 103:12).”
– Source: Forgiveness for evil deeds done
Still sneering? Still so dull?
Or are you ready to meet Him in repentance?
It’s up to you.
Still living in a loop hole? Or are you living it to the max – with eternal values in view?
I refuse to live a useless life (1 Peter 1:13-18). You know what I mean. A “wood, hay, and stubble” life (Stubble: 1 Corinthians 3:12 KJV).
– Source: Your useless way of life
He will not allow the unrepentant sinner into His Holy Kingdom. Absolutely not. Why would He? There is a place for that.
“wild waves of the sea,
foaming out their own shame;
wandering stars, for whom
the blackness of darkness has been reserved forever.”
– Jude 1:13
We remain as-is forever
Our life will be weighed in the balances of His Holiness. It will be the same scales we all step onto when this brief gambit of free living stops dead. Only Jesus tips the scales of eternity. And our deciding must be done on earth, because once you’re dead without Christ, you remain as-is forever.
Life is a choice we make before God. And then it’s either “damned” or “freed forever”.
________________
Excerpt from article God damned on earth:
Being God damned on earth is to be
simply living your life – without Christ, living in rebellion against God, refusing to bow your knee to God, refusing his free gift of eternal life, living for anyone or anything else but Christ, against Christ, against what God has established, forever against God’s call to repent of your sins and have only this fleeting life, not turned to God in repentance, not accepted God’s free gift of acceptance into His Kingdom, not accepted Christ as Lord of your life, not had God change you into a forgiven child of God and yet have the opportunity now to accept Christ as Lord and Savior
– Source: God damned on earth
The redeemed have had all their sins taken away. All of it. All — “as far as the East is from the West” (Psalm 103:12). They are free from the condemnation of God. Forgiven of all. Forgiven forever. Forever redeemed by the blood of the perfect Lamb sacrificed on our behalf.
As far as
the east is from the west,
So far
has He removed
our transgressions
from us.
– Psalm 103:12
Those still in sin… following the evil one
On earth we cannot balance-out our evil with efforts for good. There is no symmetry, nor equilibrium as mere humans in that meet-up down the road. The Lord God is mighty and holy. Without Christ – we are neither.
Only salvation in Christ brings us symmetry and equilibrium as humans. Oh how marvelous! Happiest day ever!
Wow. Can hardly wait for that day of perfection and eternal joy!
Time is such a spoiler. I don’t want to wait for it. I want “it” now! The hands of time move so slowly ’round the clock. Why do I have to wait for it?! I can hardly wait for His timeless, infinite continuum of Eternity!
– Source: Waiting for it
There can be no accord with Holy God unless He Himself makes us holy. The sinner who repents is set free and from then on has the holiness of Jesus imputed, 2 and Father God sees us “hidden with Christ” in His holiness. His holiness is our holy standing with God.
3 For you died [to this world], and your [new, real] life is hidden with Christ in God. 4 When Christ, who is our life, [a]appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.
– Colossians 3:3-4
God’s Holy Standard
Holiness is His standard in His Heavens. Our total soul must be reborn because of our sin. Jesus said, “You must be born again” (John 3). We are that short of His perfect will. No matter what “good” we may muster-up, it is all like filthy rags compared to His spotless white silk tablecloth.
Balancing-out our wrongs?
We cannot. We cannot, as Buttigieg once claimed he himself does, balance-out our evil with efforts for good. There in Hell, what will all your arguing mean, at all? Who In Hell Do You Think You Are?
“Who’s sneering now?”
(See both passages in one link: Jude 1:10; Acts 17:30-31)
“Listen to Him – and obey” …Acts 3:22
If you go against Me
We are His creation, so He knows our thoughts. And He said, basically (my interpretation):
Extrapolation of Matthew 7:23:
If you go against Me, what I, God, want, in anything [what Jesus stands for]… then you ARE against Me, (“saith the Lord”).
Who you stand with shows. It shows with how you live your life, with how you habitually act, with what you “post to” on social media, with “the thoughts and intentions of your heart….”
If Jesus discerns you have stood against Him, the consequence comes to you on That Day when you kneel in anguish and fear before God, The Judge.
He will say, basically: You have come before Me, before the seat of My Eternal Court, and I am against you.
– Extrapolated from: Matthew 7:23.
How startling that statement will be: “I am against you.” You may look back in your memory of earth times and regret having rejected all the warnings.
It’s quite simple, actually, this saving knowledge of Jesus that saves for all eternity.
“listen to Him
and obey
everything He tells you”
– Acts 3:22
Excerpt from: God spoke through prophets and Jesus – the greatest of all:
“Jesus performed miracles and furnished us with sufficient proof. It’s not blind faith that we have when we believe in Jesus. They actually witnessed proofs. They were no longer ignorant. Neither is the world now.”
Knowing the Messiah has come, our response should be to accept Him in repentance, and “listen to Him and obey everything He tells you“, as Jesus’ disciple Peter said:
19 So repent [change your inner self—your old way of thinking, regret past sins] and return [to God—seek His purpose for your life], so that your sins may be wiped away [blotted out, completely erased], so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord [restoring you like a cool wind on a hot day]”
– Verse 19 of Acts 3:17-26
“You are all wrong” Jesus said
Being wrong with the right of Jesus puts you on the great eternal divide opposite of Jesus. None, nobody, can be wrong with Jesus — and continue-on to gain access to His Holy Kingdom. Just ain’t happenin’ yo. Not a chance in Hell.
See: Keeping sin AND getting God’s Holiness also
Hell was not made for you
God wants everyone to go to Heaven. The catch? The catch is He asks us to turn from sin – and turn to Him. We are born with the need for His salvation forgiveness. The catch is: will you accept Him?
Nobody gets released from Hell’s condemnation on their own recognizance. Only the Holy Lamb of God was a sacrifice pure enough to win in the courts of Heaven. Jesus saves sinners. Jesus saved me. Hallelujah.
Jesus told him,
“I am the Way—yes,
and the Truth
and the Life.
No one can get to the Father
except by means of me.
– John 14:6 Living Bible
Trying to tip the scales
“Are you tipping the scales
to get what you want?
Maybe using the wrong scales?”
– Source: “You are all wrong” Jesus said
Jesus said,
“…unless a person is born again [reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, sanctified], he cannot [ever] see and experience the kingdom of God.” – John 3:3
““If anyone wishes to follow Me [as My disciple], he must deny himself [set aside selfish interests], and take up his cross daily [expressing a willingness to endure whatever may come] and follow Me [believing in Me, conforming to My example in living and, if need be, suffering or perhaps dying because of faith in Me]. – Luke 9:23
You are wrong
Throughout life there are many things we may get “wrong”. But you absolutely do not want to misunderstand God’s definition of “wrong”.
Way too many humans (94%? of us) are “wrong” about Jesus. Are you “in the wrong” before Holy God? Read the Bible for yourself and see. What escapes your notice?
What part of
“you are wrong”
do you not get?
What part of “wrong”
are you failing to grasp?
What God expects of us… in order to enter His Holy Kingdom
When Jesus said “You are not of God” — He was teaching us about the vast chasm between man and God. Nobody can cross that gap on their own. Sin requires the forgiveness only Jesus can provide. Do you have Jesus?
Want God’s Approval? He was telling us down through the centuries what gains His approval, and then Jesus came down to earth in order to make it all possible.
We must want it – to get it. In his article, Which Jesus Do You Serve? – Brendon Powell contrasts
(1) What is often preached by man
– versus –
(2) What was preached by Jesus.
____________
What did Jesus himself say?
There is the Jesus who said,
“Repent and believe the gospel,
the kingdom of God is at hand.”
– Mark 1:15
THAT is Truth.
This is Truth:

-
He said without Him you are already condemned. -John 3:18.
-
He said He came to save the world -John 3:16.

-
He said the gate is narrow and the way is difficult and few find it.
-Matt 7:13-14. -
He said those who believe in Him but work iniquity will be cast out. -Matt 7:21-23.
-
He said you’ll be hated for His name’s sake, but if you endure to the end, you’ll be saved. -Matt 10:22.
-
He said “I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father but by Me”. –John 14:6.

In Matthew 22:verse 29 AMP version, Jesus taught:
“You are all wrong
because
you know neither the Scriptures
[which teach the resurrection]
nor the power of God
[for He is able to raise the dead].
This in the New American Standard Bible (NASB):
“You are mistaken,
not understanding
the Scriptures
nor the power of God.”
This is why! Why Jesus will say to some, “I don’t know you.” Answer: “You are not of God”, Jesus said
** So what part of “unacceptable” do you not understand?
** What part of “wrong” do you not get? We all have to get this right.
The message of Jesus is “confirmed Truth” from God. It was “proved authentic” by the witness of many eyewitnesses.
“…it was confirmed to us
and proved authentic
by those who
personally heard [Him speak]
– Hebrews 2: verse 3
1) Going To Hell? It will be so evil. The ultimate bummer of bummers. Everywhere. Everyone. Evil. Suffering. Nothing good.

2) Going to Heaven? It only takes a minute to get to Heaven!
